Randy Brecker ist ein vielfach presgekrönter, US-amerikanischer Jazz-Trompeter und Flügelhornist, der zu den bedeutendsten Künstlern auf seinem Instrument zählt. Brecker studierte klassische Trompete und zog 1966 nach New York, wo er mit Größen wie Horace Silver und Stevie Wonder spielte. Er war 1967 Mitbegründer der Band Blood, Sweat & Tears und 1973 von Larry Coryells The Eleventh House. Gemeinsam mit seinem 2007 verstorbenen Bruder Michael gründete Randy 1975 die Brecker Brothers, die zu einer der prägenden Formationen der Fusionmusik wurden. Er tourte später mit Jaco Pastorius’ Word of Mouth Big Band und spielte mit Künstlern wie Eric Clapton, Frank Zappa und Bruce Springsteen. 1992 formierten die Brecker Brothers sich neu und erhielten Grammys für ihr Album Out of the Loop. Im Jahr 2003 wurde sein Album 34th N Lex mit einem Grammy ausgezeichnet, und 2014 gewann er einen weiteren Grammy für das Album Night in Calisia, aufgenommen mit dem polnischen Musiker Włodek Pawlik und den Philharmonikern von Kalisz. 2020 erhielt Brecker den Preis für das beste Jazz-Solo für den Titel Sozinho auf dem Album Rocks.

Paulo Morello zählt zu den spannendsten Jazzgitarristen Europas. Seine internationalen Erfolge mit der Bossa-Nova-Legende Leny Andrade und dem verstorbenen Larry Coryell in Night of Jazz Guitars führten ihn auf bedeutende Festivals in Europa und Südamerika. Morello arbeitete zudem mit Jazzikonen wie Jimmy Smith, Bob Mintzer, Billy Cobham, Airto Moreira, Philip Catherine und Pat Martino zusammen. Neben seiner Karriere als Musiker ist er Professor für Jazzgitarre und Künstlerischer Leiter am Jazz Institut Berlin.

Schlagzeuger Christoph Huber prägt den Sound von Hammond Eggs mit seiner dynamischen und kraftvollen Spielweise. Huber hat mit Künstlern wie Sarah Connor, Panzerballett, Torsten Goods, Sheila Jordan und Dephazz auf der internationalen Jazz- und Popszene seinen unverwechselbaren Stil hinterlassen.

Randy Brecker is a highly awarded American jazz trumpeter and flugelhorn player, widely regarded as one of the most significant artists on his instrument. Brecker studied classical trumpet and moved to New York in 1966, where he performed with giants like Horace Silver and Stevie Wonder. In 1967, he co-founded the band Blood, Sweat & Tears, and in 1973, Larry Coryell’s The Eleventh House. In 1975, together with his brother Michael (who passed away in 2007), Randy formed the Brecker Brothers, a band that became one of the defining acts of fusion music. He later toured with Jaco Pastorius’ Word of Mouth Big Band and played with artists such as Eric Clapton, Frank Zappa, and Bruce Springsteen. In 1992, the Brecker Brothers reunited and won Grammys for their album Out of the Loop. In 2003, Randy’s album 34th N Lex won a Grammy, and in 2014, he won another Grammy for the album Night in Calisia, recorded with Polish musician Włodek Pawlik and the Kalisz Philharmonic Orchestra. In 2020, Brecker received the award for Best Jazz Solo for the track Sozinho from the album Rocks.

Jermaine Landsberger has masterfully translated his virtuosic and melodically captivating piano style—deeply rooted in the traditions of Gypsy music—to the jazz organ. Today, he is considered one of the most distinctive European Hammond B3 players. His U.S. debut album Gettin' Blazed, featuring renowned artists like Pat Martino, Harvey Mason, and James Genus, attracted widespread attention on both sides of the Atlantic. Guitar legend Pat Martino once praised Landsberger by saying: “In the evolution of an instrument, there are only a handful of truly innovative musicians. Jermaine Landsberger is one of them.”

Paulo Morello is regarded as one of Europe’s most exciting jazz guitarists. His international success alongside bossa nova legend Leny Andrade and the late Larry Coryell in Night of Jazz Guitars has taken him to major festivals across Europe and South America. Morello has also collaborated with jazz icons such as Jimmy Smith, Bob Mintzer, Billy Cobham, Airto Moreira, Philip Catherine, and Pat Martino. In addition to his performing career, he is Professor of Jazz Guitar and Artistic Director at the Jazz Institute Berlin.

Drummer Christoph Huber shapes the sound of Hammond Eggs with his dynamic and powerful playing. He has made a name for himself on the international jazz and pop scenes through collaborations with artists like Sarah Connor, Panzerballett, Torsten Goods, Sheila Jordan, and DePhazz—leaving a distinct personal mark wherever he plays.
