Ihr selbstbetiteltes Debüt wurde von den Kritikern gefeiert und erhielt Lob von Radio, Presse und Web-Blogs und bishin zu Auftritten im deutschen Fernsehen. Die Band ist genreübergreifend und erforscht Rock, Jazz, afro-kubanische Rhythmen, westafrikanische Kora-Musik, High-Life-Groove, Volksmusik und andere Genres, die die beiden Musiker auf ihren unterschiedlichen Klangreisen rund um die Welt beeinflusst haben.
Auf der Bühne werden sie von einer Reihe handverlesener Mitstreiter aus den verschiedenen Ecken der europäischen Jazzszene unterstützt. Zu den bisherigen Kollaborateuren gehören das Dutch Brass Quartet (K.O. Brass), der Schweizer Perkussionist David Stauffacher und eine Reihe der angesehensten Schlagzeuger der Berliner Jazz- und Improvisationsmusikszene.
Nach der Veröffentlichung ihres Debüts tourte die Band ausgiebig auf Festivals und Bühnen in Deutschland, der Schweiz, den Niederlanden und Dänemark, darunter das International Music Meeting, (NL) Tollwood (DE), Traumzeit (DE) und Copenhagen Jazz Fest (Roots & Jazz). Die Band nimmt derzeit ihre nächste Veröffentlichung auf, die Mitte 2023 erscheinen soll.

Roland Satterwhite ist ein kanadisch-amerikanischer Violinist, Geiger und Sänger. Er lebt seit 2008 in Berlin. Seine Lieder sind besonders inspiriert vom Delta-Blues und traditioneller Musik aus Westafrika, darunter Gnawa-Musik und Kora-Griot-Traditionen. Seine Art,die Bratsche zu zupfen, ist einzigartig und seine Texte behandeln ein breites Spektrum an Themen, mal politisch, mal romantisch, mal ganz alltäglich. Als Geiger hat Roland mit vielen international bekannten Musikern gespielt, darunter Albita, Marta Gomez, Agujetas Chico, Gary Dial, Pedrito Martinez, Jorge Pardo, Kurt Rosenwinkel, Marta Topferova und Carlos Hayre. Er ist außerdem Mitglied des Moka Efti Orchestra (Babylon Berlin).

Tal Arditi ist ein in Berlin ansässiger israleischer Jazzgitarrist. Das Gitarren-Wunderkind begann mit 16 Jahren in Israel zu studieren um zwei Jahre später nach Berlin zu ziehen, wo er ein unverzichtbarer Teil der hiesigen Szene geworden ist. Tal bewegt sich mühelos durch jedwedes Genre und besticht sowohl durch seine Virtuosität wie auch durch sein Einfühlungsvermögen. Das Ausnahmetalent nahm bisher mehrere Alben unter eigenem Namen auf, tourte durch ganz Europa und zeigt sich auch weiterhin als unermüdlicher und kreativer Botschafter seines Instruments.

Der in Budapest aufgewachsene Peter Somos begann seine professionelle Schlagzeugerkarriere mit 14 Jahren und schloss sein Studium an der Codarts University of Music in Rotterdam mit summa cum laude ab. Im Laufe seiner Karriere hat er mit Künstlern wie Casey Benjamin, Mahesh Vinayakram, Nadishana, Paquito D'Riviera, Besh o droM, Krzysztof Scieranski, um nur einige zu nennen, aufgenommen bzw. ist mit ihnen aufgetreten. Er hat auch auf Festivals wie Sziget (HU), Exit (SR), WOMADelaide (AUS), Meskie Granie, Jamboree, Opener' (PL), Sudtirol Jazz (IT), JodhpurRIFF, Kolkata Jazz (IN), Shanghai World Music (CN), oder dem Jeju World Music (KR) gespielt. Er ist ein erfahrener Studiomusiker, der bei mehreren Aufnahmen in vielen Stilrichtungen (von Jazz über Pop-Rock bis Metal) mitgewirkt hat.

Their self-titled debut was critically acclaimed and received praise from radio, press and web blogs, and even appearances on German television. The band is genre-bending, exploring rock, jazz, Afro-Cuban rhythms, West African kora music, high-life groove, folk music and other genres that have influenced the two musicians on their various sonic journeys around the world.On stage, they are supported by a number of hand-picked collaborators from the various corners of the European jazz scene. Previous collaborators include the Dutch Brass Quartet (K.O. Brass), Swiss percussionist David Stauffacher, and a number of the most respected drummers on the Berlin jazz and improvised music scene.Following the release of their debut, the band toured extensively at festivals and stages in Germany, Switzerland, the Netherlands and Denmark, including the International Music Meeting, (NL) Tollwood (DE), Traumzeit (DE) and Copenhagen Jazz Fest (Roots & Jazz). The band is currently recording their next release, scheduled for release in mid-2023.

Roland Satterwhite is a Canadian-American violinist, violinist and singer. He has lived in Berlin since 2008. His songs are particularly inspired by Delta blues and traditional music from West Africa, including Gnawa music and Kora Griot traditions. His way of plucking the viola is unique and his lyrics deal with a wide range of topics, sometimes political, sometimes romantic, sometimes everyday. As a violinist, Roland has played with many internationally known musicians, including Albita, Marta Gomez, Agujetas Chico, Gary Dial, Pedrito Martinez, Jorge Pardo, Kurt Rosenwinkel, Marta Topferova and Carlos Hayre. He is also a member of the Moka Efti Orchestra (Babylon Berlin).

Tal Arditi is a Berlin-based Isralean jazz guitarist. The guitar prodigy began studying in Israel at the age of 16 to move to Berlin two years later, where he has become an indispensable part of the local scene. Tal moves effortlessly through any genre and impresses with both his virtuosity and his sensitivity. The exceptional talent has recorded several albums under his own name, toured throughout Europe and continues to be a tireless and creative ambassador for his instrument.

Peter Somos, who grew up in Budapest, began his professional drumming career at the age of 14 and graduated summa cum laude from Codarts University of Music in Rotterdam. He is an experienced studio musician who has participated in several recordings in many styles (from jazz to pop-rock to metal). He was also hired by the best rock metal studio in Eastern Europe (Hertz Studios, known for their work with Behemoth or Decapitated) to record the whole sound library.
