In acht Songs verbindet sie Folk-Traditionen aus Irland, Kuba, Bulgarien und der arabischen Welt mit modernen Arrangements von Michal Ciesielski. Die polnische Band Confusion Project bereichert den vielseitigen Sound. Simona De Rosa ist eine preisgekrönte Sängerin, Komponistin und Musikpädagogin. Mit zwei eigenen Alben und zahlreichen weiteren Veröffentlichungen hat sie sich in der New Yorker Jazzszene etabliert und tourt international. Geboren in Neapel, begann sie im Alter von zehn Jahren Klavier zu spielen. Als Teenager entdeckte sie ihre Stimme und experimentierte mit verschiedenen Genres von Klassik bis Pop, bevor sie ihre Leidenschaft für Jazz und die Kunst der Improvisation entfaltete. Nach ihrem Studium zog Simona nach New York und pendelt seither zwischen dort und Italien. Heute ist sie eine vielseitige Künstlerin: gefeierte Sängerin, Komponistin, Pädagogin und musikalische Innovatorin – vor allem aber eine Musikerin der Welt. Von Neapel bis Vietnam, von New York bis Peking und darüber hinaus – ihre Musik ist geprägt von ihren Reisen und der Auseinandersetzung mit den Musikkulturen unterschiedlichster Länder, die sie in ihrem einzigartigen Stil neu interpretiert.

Confusion Project ist ein polnisches Jazztrio, das 2013 gegründet wurde. Die Band hat seither ihre eigene musikalische Sprache entwickelt – eine moderne Interpretation von Jazz-Fusion mit ausdrucksstarken Melodien, komplexen Rhythmen und einer bildhaften Klangästhetik. Mit vier Studioalben, zwei Live-Alben und zahlreichen Konzerten in Europa, China, Russland und Kasachstan hat sich das Trio international einen Namen gemacht. 2019 tourte die Band einen Monat lang durch China und spielte 20 Konzerte in verschiedenen Städten. 2023 kehrte sie zurück und begeisterte unter anderem im Blue Note Beijing und Blue Note Shanghai. Musikalisch bewegt sich Confusion Project im Jazz-Fusion-Bereich, integriert aber auch Elemente aus Progressive Rock, Drum & Bass, klassischer und Filmmusik. Die Stücke sind geprägt von starken Melodien, harmonischem Reichtum und einer erzählerischen Bildhaftigkeit.

Simona De Rosa is an award-winning singer, composer, educator. Having released two albums as a leader and appearing on numerous albums, she has established herself in the NY jazz scene and continues touring internationally. Born in Napoli, Italy, Simona De Rosa started to play piano at the age of ten. As a teenager she discovered her voice and started singing different types of music from classical to pop and soon become fascinated by jazz and the thrilling possibilities of spontaneous improvisation. After graduating, Simona moved to New York, and has been living there and in Italy since then. Simona is now many things: an acclaimed vocalist, composer, educator, and musical innovator, but first and foremost, she is a musician of the world. From Napoli to Vietnam, New York to Beijing, and many places in between, Simona’s seemingly limitless musical explorations stretch even beyond her travels. Drawing a reverent influence from each of her experiences, her music is steeped in a rich understanding and curiosity of many countries’ musical traditions while offering her refreshing perspective.

Confusion Project is a Polish jazz trio, established in 2013. Since then, the band has developed its unique music language, a modern approach to jazz-fusion, with extensive compositions, strong melodies, complex rhythms, and characteristic, illustrative aspect. The band has recorded 4 studio albums, 2 live albums and performed numerous concerts in Europe, but also in China, Russia and Kazakhstan. In 2019 the band toured China for a month playing 20 concerts in various Chinese cities. In 2023 the band repeated it's tour in China, playing enthousiastically received concerts at Blue Note Beijing and Blue Note Shanghai among other venues. The music of Confusion Project, although still within the jazz fusion idiom, includes some elements characteristic for such genres as progressive rock, drum&bass, classical or cinematic music. It's always full of strong melodies, rich harmonies and counterpoints and some illustrative elements.
