Isfar Sarabski ist einer der vielseitigsten und kreativsten europäischen Musiker der heutigen Tage. In seiner Arbeit zeigen sich eine schier unerschöpfliche Kreativität, atemberaubende Virtuosität, Einflüsse aus mehreren Jahrhunderten Musikgeschichte und den verschiedensten Genres von Jazz über Klassik bis hin zu elektronischer Musik und seine musikalischen und kulturellen Wurzeln. Mit Isfar Sarabski besucht uns ein Ausnahmetalent, dem der große Quincy Jones höchstpersönlich attestierte: “Junge, du wirst noch viel spielen!”

Isfar Rzayev-Sarabski ist ein aserbaidschanischer Pianist und Komponist, geboren 1989 in Baku. Sarabski gilt als eines der größten Talente am Klavier unserer Zeit. Er graduierte an der Baku Music Academy bevor es ihn in die USA ans Berklee College of Music zog. Schon als Student gewann er zahlreiche Preise und Wettbewerb, wie den Honory Artist of Azerbaijan oder die renommierte Montreux Jazz Solo Piano Competition. Er arbeitete inzwischen mit KünstlerInnen wie Herbie Hancock, Terri Lyne Carrington, Igor Butman, Mark Guiliana und vielen mehr zusammen. In seinem Werk verbindet er im Idiom des Jazz, als klassische Komposition oder in Form elektronischer Musik hohe Virtuosität, mitreißende Musikalität und wuchtige Power. Seit 2019 ist Sarabski bei Warner unter Vertrag und arbeitet am Release verschiedener Alben unterschiedlicher Genres.

Makar Novikov aus Moskau ist einer der bekanntesten russischen Jazz-Kontrabassisten. Als erfahrener Begleiter und virtuoser Solist spielte er beispielsweise mit Jimmy Cobb, Clark Terry, Jimmy Heath und James Spaulding und tritt regelmäßig mit Alex Sipiagin und dem Isfar Sarabski Trio in Erscheinung. Während des Kriegsausbruchs mit nur einem Koffer auf Tour in Italien gestrandet, lebt er mittlerweile in Norditalien und kann als glücklicher Neuzugang der europäischen Jazzszene verstanden werden.

Der Schlagzeuger Amir Bresler kam im Alter von 15 Jahren zum ersten Mal mit Jazzmusik in Berührung, als er sich für das Jazzprogramm an der Thelma-Yellin National High School of the Arts in Givataim, Israel, registrierte, die er mit Auszeichnung abschloss. In den letzten Jahren hat sich Amir als einer der gefragtesten israelischen Schlagzeuger etabliert, der in Israel und im Ausland bei prominenten lokalen und internationalen Jazzfestivals auftritt. 2010 schloss sich Amir dem weltberühmten Bassisten, Sänger und Komponisten Avishai Cohen bei Konzerten auf der ganzen Welt an. Amir trat auch mit Gastmusikern wie Sam Yahel, Joel Fraham, Mark Turner, Kirk Lightsay und Dwayne Bruno auf. Darüber hinaus spielt Amir mit verschiedenen israelischen Künstlern, darunter Daniel Zamir, Kutiman, Gilad Hekselman, Nitai Hershkovits, Shai Maestro, Yotam Silbrestein, Amos Hoffman, Gilad Abro, um nur einige zu nennen.

Isfar Sarabski is one of the most versatile and creative European musicians of today. His work reveals an almost inexhaustible creativity, breathtaking virtuosity, influences from several centuries of music history and the most diverse genres from jazz to classical to electronic music and his musical and cultural roots. Isfar Sarabski is an exceptional talent to whom the great Quincy Jones himself attested: "Boy, you're going to play a lot!"

Isfar Rzayev-Sarabski is an Azerbaijani pianist and composer born in Baku in 1989. Sarabski is considered one of the greatest piano talents of our time. He graduated from the Baku Music Academy before moving to the Berklee College of Music in the USA. Even as a student, he won numerous prizes and competitions, such as the Honory Artist of Azerbaijan or the renowned Montreux Jazz Solo Piano Competition. He has worked with artists such as Herbie Hancock, Terri Lyne Carrington, Igor Butman, Mark Guiliana and many more. In his work, he combines high virtuosity, rousing musicality and massive power in the idiom of jazz, as a classical composition or in the form of electronic music. Sarabski has been under contract with Warner since 2019 and is working on the release of various albums in different genres.

Makar Novikov from Moscow is one of the best known Russian jazz double bassists. An experienced accompanist and virtuoso soloist, he has played with Jimmy Cobb, Clark Terry, Jimmy Heath and James Spaulding, for example, and appears regularly with Alex Sipiagin and the Isfar Sarabski Trio. Stranded in Italy during the outbreak of war with only one suitcase on tour, he now lives in northern Italy and can be understood as a fortunate new addition to the European jazz scene.

Drummer Amir Bresler was first exposed to jazz music at the age of 15 when he registered for the jazz program at the Thelma-Yellin National High School of the Arts in Givataim, Israel, from which he graduated with honors. In recent years, Amir has established himself as one of Israel's most sought-after drummers, performing in Israel and abroad at prominent local and international jazz festivals. In 2010, Amir joined world-renowned bassist, vocalist and composer Avishai Cohen in concerts around the world. Amir has also performed with guest musicians such as Sam Yahel, Joel Fraham, Mark Turner, Kirk Lightsay and Dwayne Bruno.
