Donald Harrison stammt aus New Orleans, einer der Heimatstätten der Jazzmusik, in dessen kultureller und musikalischer Tradition er tief verwurzelt ist. Geprägt durch sein Erbe in den Mardi-Gras-Traditionen New Orleans’ ist er Verfechter eines eklektischen Musikstils, der die afroamerikanischen Musiktraditionen zusammenführt. Für ihn ist der traditionsbewusste Blick nach vorne nicht nur eine Floskel, sondern gelebte Musik aus dem Hier und Jetzt. Ob als junger Saxophonist in den legendären Jazz Messengers um den Schlagzeuger Art Blakey, ob später in seiner Band mit dem Trompeter Terence Blanchard, in Projekten mit seinem Neffen Chief Adjuah (Christian Scott) und Mulgrew Miller oder kürzlich im Trio mit den beiden Grand Seigneurs Ron Carter und Billy Cobham. Harrison ist traditionsbewusst und gleichzeitig Innovator, gleichzeitig neugierig wie selbst Mentor.

Dan Kaufman ist eine vielversprechende junge Stimme am Jazzpiano. Sein Spiel ist abenteuerlich und dynamisch, dabei fest in der Jazztradition verwurzelt. Als vielseitiger und einfühlsamer Sideman hat er weltweit vor Publikum mit vielen prominenten Jazzgrößen wie Jimmy Heath, Wynton Marsalis, Christian McBride und Mark Turner gespielt. Außerdem ist er ein talentierter Komponist und Arrangeur.

Nori Naraoka ist ein japanischstämmiger Bassist, der in New York lebt und arbeitet. Er studierte in Boston am Berklee College of Music, lebte zeitweise in New Orleans und ist einer der versiertesten Bassisten im Geschäft. Er spielte weltweit auf den renommiertesten Festivals und ist neben seiner Arbeit als professioneller Musiker auch als Produzent und Endorser für führende Instrumentenmarken tätig. Als Musiker arbeitete er unter anderem mit Nicolas Payton, Allen Toussaint, Jon Batiste, Trombone Shorty und vielen mehr zusammen.

Joe Dyson ist einer der besten jungen Schlagzeuger der Jazzwelt. 1990 in New Orleans geboren, musiziert er seit frühester Kindheit. Erst in der Kirche, dann an der Musikschule, später am Berklee College of Music; von Beginn seiner jungen Karriere war klar, dass er sich zu einer der Hoffnungen am Jazzschlagzeug entwickeln sollte. Nach seinem Abschluss mit Auszeichnung arbeitete er inzwischen mit Musikern wie Nicholas Payton, Dr. Lonnie Smith, Pat Metheny, Sullivan Fortner und mehr.

Hailing from New Orleans, one of the birthplaces of jazz, Donald Harrison is deeply rooted in its cultural and musical traditions. Influenced by his heritage in the Mardi Gras traditions of New Orleans, he champions an eclectic musical style that brings together African American musical traditions. For him, a tradition-conscious outlook toward the future is not just a cliché but a lived expression of music in the here and now. Whether as a young saxophonist in the legendary Jazz Messengers with drummer Art Blakey, later leading his band with trumpeter Terence Blanchard, collaborating with his nephew Chief Adjuah (Christian Scott) and Mulgrew Miller, or recently performing in a trio with the esteemed Ron Carter and Billy Cobham, Harrison embodies both tradition and innovation. Dan Kaufman has emerged as a leading and promising young voice in Jazz Piano. Dan’s playing is adventurous and dynamic while firmly rooted in the jazz tradition. As a versatile and sensitive sideman , he has performed for audiences around the world, with many of the most prominent figures in jazz. From Jimmy Heath, Wynton Marsalis, Christian McBride and Mark Turner. He is also an accomplished composer and arranger. 

Nori Naraoka is a Japanese-American bassist based in New York. He studied at the Berklee College of Music in Boston and spent some time living in New Orleans. He is one of the most accomplished bassists in the business, performing at renowned festivals around the world. In addition to his work as a professional musician, he is also a producer and an endorser for leading instrument brands. As a musician, he has collaborated with artists such as Nicholas Payton, Allen Toussaint, Jon Batiste, Trombone Shorty, and many more.

Joe Dyson is one of the finest young drummers in the jazz world. Born in 1990 in New Orleans, he has been making music since early childhood—first in church, then at music school, and later at the Berklee College of Music. From the start of his young career, it was clear that he would become one of the promising talents in jazz drumming. After graduating with honors, he has since worked with musicians such as Nicholas Payton, Dr. Lonnie Smith, Pat Metheny, Sullivan Fortner, and many more.
