Emma Rawicz ist eine britische Jazzmusikerin (Tenorsaxophon, Flöte, Bassklarinette und Komposition), die derzeit in der Jazzwelt einiges an Aufsehen erregt. Die junge Senkrechtstarterin ist mit ihren gerade einmal 22 Jahren schon in der Szene etabliert und gilt als eine der besten Spielerinnen ihrer Generation. Seit ihrer Kindheit macht Emma Musik, studierte später an der Royal Academy of Music. Mit ihrem 2022 erschienenen Debutalbum Incantations ging sie auf Tour und spielte auf internationalen Festivals wie auch in renommierten Venues wie dem Ronnie Scott’s. Ihr zweites Album erschien 2023 auf ACT, unterstützt wurde Sie dabei unter anderem von Ivo Neame. Sie spiel im Duo mit dem Pianisten Gwilym Simcock und wurde für ihr Spiel schon mehrfach ausgezeichnet.

Philip “Phil” Dizack ist ein US-amerikanischer Trompeter. Er kam schon früh mit Jazz in Kontakt, spielte schon früh in Bigbands und mit diesen internationale Tourneen, bevor er 2003 sein Studium an der Manhattan School of Music begann. In den letzten Jahren ist Phil zu einem äußerst renommierten und gefragten Trompeter geworden, der fest in der Szene verwurzelt ist. Er spielte mit Ben Wendel, Eric Harland, Immanuel Wilkins und vielen mehr, war an dutzenden Aufnahmen beteiligt und ist inzwischen auch Teil des Katalogs von Criss Cross Jazz, dem derzeit wohl profiliertesten Label für bop-orientierten Jazz. Philip war des weiteren Sieger der National Trumpet Competition sowie der Carmine Caruso International Solo Jazz Competition.

Haggai Cohen-Milo wurde in Israel geboren und ist bekannt für seine Arbeit als Kontrabassist, Komponist und Performance-Künstler. Seit mehr als zehn Jahren entwickelt er in Zusammenarbeit mit Tänzern und Choreographen eine eigene Methode, die als Bindeglied zwischen Klang, Bewegung und Bildender Kunst in der Performancekunst wirkt. Haggai Cohen-Milo tritt vor Publikum auf, arbeitet aber ebenso im Tonstudio und erscheint auf über 30 Alben für Label wie der Warner Music Group, Fresh Sound Records oder Tzadik. 2017 zog der Musiker nach Berlin, ein Jahr später erhielt er zusammen mit dem israelischen Omer Klein Trio den Echo in der Kategorie »Ensemble National«.

Ziv Ravitz – Schlagzeug, geboren 1976 in Beer-Sheva (Israel), begann im Alter von 9 Jahren mit Schwerpunkt Schlagzeug zu musizieren. Im Sommer 2000 zog er zur Erweiterung seiner Fähigkeiten in die USA und schloss 2004 die Berkelee School of Music mit einem Jazz-Kompositionsstudium ab. Regelmässige Auftritte mit Lee Konitz, Avishai Kohen, Yaron Herman Trio. Regelmässige Tourneen in der ganzen Welt und spielte mit Musikern wie Hal Crook, Joel Frahm, Joe Lovano, Tomasz Stanko, Ralph Alessi, George Garzone, Ben Monder, Aaron Goldberg, Aaron Parks und Esperanza Spaulding. Heute lebt Ziv in New York City, zählt dort zu den gefragtesten Schlagzeugern und ist eine wichtige Kraft in der israelischen Jazz-Bewegung.

Emma Rawicz is a British jazz musician (tenor saxophone, flute, bass clarinet, and composition) who is making waves in the jazz world. At just 22 years old, the rising star has already established herself as one of the finest players of her generation. A lifelong musician, Emma studied at the prestigious Royal Academy of Music. Her debut album, Incantations (2022), earned critical acclaim, leading to tours and performances at international festivals and renowned venues like Ronnie Scott’s. Her second album, released in 2023 on ACT, featured support from notable artists such as Ivo Neame. Emma also performs in a duo with pianist Gwilym Simcock and has been honored with multiple awards for her outstanding musicianship.

Philip “Phil” Dizack is an accomplished American jazz trumpeter. Introduced to jazz at an early age, he quickly found his way into big bands, touring internationally before beginning his studies at the Manhattan School of Music in 2003. Over the years, Phil has become a highly respected and in-demand trumpeter firmly rooted in the contemporary jazz scene. He has performed with prominent artists such as Ben Wendel, Eric Harland, and Immanuel Wilkins, contributing to numerous recordings. Phil is now part of the prestigious Criss Cross Jazz label, known for its focus on bop-oriented jazz. Among his accolades, he has won the National Trumpet Competition and the Carmine Caruso International Solo Jazz Competition, cementing his reputation as a leading figure in modern jazz.

Haggai Cohen-Milo was born in Israel and is known for his work as a double bassist, composer and performance artist. For more than ten years he has been developing his own method in collaboration with dancers and choreographers, which acts as a link between sound, movement and visual art in performance art. Haggai Cohen-Milo performs in front of audiences, but also works in the recording studio and appears on over 30 albums for labels such as Warner Music Group, Fresh Sound Records or Tzadik. In 2017, the musician moved to Berlin, and a year later he received the Echo in the category "Ensemble National" together with the Israeli Omer Klein Trio.

Ziv Ravitz - drums, born in 1976 in Beer-Sheva (Israel), began making music at the age of 9 with a focus on drums. In the summer of 2000, he moved to the USA to expand his skills and graduated from the Berkelee School of Music in 2004 with a degree in jazz composition. Regular appearances with Lee Konitz, Avishai Kohen, Yaron Herman Trio. He tours regularly all over the world and has played with musicians such as Hal Crook, Joel Frahm, Joe Lovano, Tomasz Stanko, Ralph Alessi, George Garzone, Ben Monder, Aaron Goldberg, Aaron Parks and Esperanza Spaulding. Today, Ziv lives in New York City, where he is one of the most sought-after drummers and an important force in the Israeli jazz movement.
