Dienstag, 26.05. — genau 100 Jahre nach der Geburt von Miles Davis.
Der wohl wichtigste Trompeter aller Zeiten. Der Mann, der den Jazz viermal neu erfunden hat — und nie zurückgeblickt hat.
Keine klassische Hommage und nichts Zurückhaltendes — sondern ein Abend voller Energie, Risiko und Sound, ganz im Geist von Miles Davis. Lebendig, laut und ständig in Bewegung.
ZWEITES SET:
Wie jeden Dienstag versammelt Pianomeister Uri Gincel die besten JazzmusikerInnen der Stadt! Wo soviel Talent und Können versammelt sind bleibt kaum ein Auge trocken, bleibt kaum ein Fuß still stehen.
Nach einem kurzen Set der Opener-Band startet Berlins heißeste Session und bringt den Vibe New Yorks nach Berlin. Die besten MusikerInnen der Stadt, gemeinsam in wechselnden Ensembles auf der Bühne um zu kommunizieren, kreieren, improvisieren und sich gegenseitig in höchste Höhen zu pushen. Die Musik des Great American Songbooks wird genauso lebendig wie das Erbe Miles Davis’, John Coltranes, Herbie Hancocks und so vielen mehr.
Unsere Session bringt Menschen aus aller Welt zusammen; alte Bekannte, Musiker auf Tour, gute Freunde, die seit Jahren zusammen spielen. Und das alles in feinster Jazzclub-Atmosphäre zu leckeren Cocktails und guten Gesprächen.

Tuesday 26.05 — exactly 100 years since Miles Davis was born. The most important trumpet player who ever lived. The man who reinvented jazz four times and never looked back.
No classic tribute and nothing restrained — but an evening full of energy, risk and sound, entirely in the spirit of Miles Davis. Alive, loud and constantly moving.
SECOND SET:
Like every Tuesday, piano master Uri Gincel brings together the best jazz musicians in town! Where so much talent and skill is gathered, hardly an eye remains dry, hardly a foot remains still.
After a short set by the opening band, Berlin's hottest session starts and brings the vibe of New York to Berlin. The city's best musicians, together in changing ensembles on stage to communicate, create, improvise and push each other to the highest heights. The music of the Great American Songbook comes to life as well as the legacy of Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Herbie Hancock and so many more.
Our session brings together people from all over the world; old acquaintances, musicians on tour, good friends who have been playing together for years. And all this in the finest jazz club atmosphere with delicious cocktails and good conversation.
