Founded in 2016 in Odessa by academic pianist and composer Andrii Pokaz, the band put a start for a new wave of contemporary jazz in Ukraine. The trio successfully combines jazz, classical and ethnic music with electronic additions. Since 2017 the band is a resident of the leading jazz events in Ukraine (Odessa Jazz, Koktebel Jazz Fest, Jazz Bez, Leopolis Jazz Festival, Am I Jazz), takes part in jazz festivals all over Europe: Spain, Poland, Lithuania, Estonia, Portugal. Pokaz Trio was the first Ukrainian band to perform at Casa da Musica, Porto, at Outono em Jazz Festival.
Die 2016 in Odessa vom akademischen Pianisten und Komponisten Andrii Pokaz gegründete Band hat eine neue Welle des zeitgenössischen Jazz in der Ukraine angestoßen. Das Trio verbindet erfolgreich Jazz, klassische und ethnische Musik mit elektronischen Ergänzungen. Seit 2017 ist die Band ein fester Bestandteil der führenden Jazzveranstaltungen in der Ukraine (Odessa Jazz, Koktebel Jazz Fest, Jazz Bez, Leopolis Jazz Festival, Am I Jazz) und nimmt an Jazzfestivals in ganz Europa teil: Spanien, Polen, Litauen, Estland, Portugal. Das Pokaz Trio war die erste ukrainische Band, die in der Casa da Musica, Porto, beim Outono em Jazz Festival auftrat.
