Er hat die Musik seiner Alben sowohl mit seinem Quartett/Quintett als auch mit weitaus größeren Ensembles von Big Bands und Symphonieorchestern präsentiert, wie der WDR Big Band Köln, der SWR Big Band Stuttgart, der Danish Radio Big Band Kopenhagen und der Big Band Jazz Y Mexico in Mexiko-Stadt. Er gastierte ebenso mit legendären Künstlern wie Diane Reeves, Al Jarreau, Natalie Cole, Gladys Knight, Roberta Flack, Patti Labelle und spielte zwei Shows mit Diana Krall in der Royal Albert Hall in London.
