Jim Snidero ist ein US-amerikanischer Altsaxophonist, Komponist und Autor. Er studierte an der University of North Texas und ist seit den späten 1970er Jahren als professioneller Musiker aktiv. Er spielte in der Band von Brother Jack McDuff und trat ebenfalls mit einigen der bedeutendsten Big Bands der Welt auf, darunter die Toshiko Akiyoshi Big Band, dem Mel Lewis/Thad Jones Orchestra und Backing Bands von Frank Sinatra. Weitere KünstlerInnen mit denen er zusammenarbeitete sind Maria Schneider, Sting, Kurt Rosenwinkel, Peter Washington, Orrin Evans, Walt Weiskopf, Jim Rotondi und viele mehr. Das Downbeat-Magazine prämierte ihn 2023 mit der Spitzenposition im Critics Poll; für seine Partizipation in Brian Lynchs The Omni-American Book Club wurde er mit einem Grammy ausgezeichnet.

Bruno Montrone ist einer der besten Pianisten der europäischen Szene und hat mit Willie Jones III, Enrico Rava, Michelle Hendricks und vielen anderen zusammengearbeitet. Im Jahr 2010 schloss er sein Jazzklavierstudium am Konservatorium Bari mit Bestnoten ab. Zu seinen LehrerInnen gehörten Barry Harris, Joey Calderazzo, Lee Konitz und Helen Sung. Er spielte mit Alex Garnett, Willie Jones III, Andy Farber, Joy Garrison und so gut wie jedem relevanten italienischen Jazzkünstler.

Doug Weiss ist einer der bekanntesten, gefragtesten und respektiertesten Jazz-Bassisten unserer Zeit. Er ist mit der Crème de la Crème der Jazzwelt aufgetreten und teilte schon die Bühne mit Jazzlegenden wie Al Foster, Eddie Henderson, George Coleman, Lee Konitz, Clifford Jordan, Eric Alexander, Chris Potter, Adam Birnbaum, Peter Bernstein, Brian Blade, Jorge Rossy, Kevin Hays, Mike Moreno, Timothy Hill, Fleurine, Paula West, Jeff Williams, Bill Stewart, Toshiko Akiyoshi, Lew Tabakin, Walt Weiskopf, Lizz Wright, Joe Williams, und Pete Seeger. Derzeit ist er Professor am SUNY Purchase College, an der New School University und bei ZOOM. Im Sommersemester 2019 war er Gastprofessor für Kontrabass und Ensemble am Jazz Institut Berlin.

Chris Smith ist ein US-amerikanischer Schlagzeuger. Er gehört zu den gefragtesten Drummern der New Yorker Szene und gilt ebenfalls als einer der wichtigsten zeitgenössischen Jazzpädagogen. Derzeit lehrt er an der Universität der Künste in Graz. Wichtige Kollaborationen in seiner Karriere waren unter anderem das Village Vanguard Jazz Orchestra, Donny McCaslin, Dick Oatts, Frank Wess, Ryan Kisor und Jay Anderson.

Jim Snidero is an American alto saxophonist, composer and author. He studied at the University of North Texas and has been active as a professional musician since the late 1970s. He played in Brother Jack McDuff's band and has also performed with some of the world's leading big bands, including the Toshiko Akiyoshi Big Band, the Mel Lewis/Thad Jones Orchestra and Frank Sinatra's backing bands. Other artists he has worked with include Maria Schneider, Sting, Kurt Rosenwinkel, Peter Washington, Orrin Evans, Walt Weiskopf, Jim Rotondi and many more. In 2010, he completed his jazz piano studies at the Bari Conservatory with top marks. His teachers included Barry Harris, Joey Calderazzo, Lee Konitz and Helen Sung. He has played with Alex Garnett, Willie Jones III, Andy Farber, Joy Garrison and just about every relevant Italian jazz artist.

Doug Weiss is one of the most well-known, sought-after and respected jazz bassists of our time. Chris Smith is an American drummer. He is one of the most sought-after drummers on the New York scene and is also considered one of the most important contemporary jazz educators. He currently teaches at the University of the Arts in Graz.
