Etienne Wittich zog 2020 nach Berlin, um am Jazz-Institut Berlin zu studieren. Seine musikalische Entwicklung wurde von renommierten Lehrern wie John Scofield, Paulo Morello, Helmut Nieberle, Howard Alden, Kalle Kalima und Phil Donkin geprägt, die seine Spielweise maßgeblich beeinflussten. 
2018 gewann er sowohl den Regensburger Musikpreis als auch den Konzertpreis Jugend Jazzt Bayern. Sein in der Tradition der Jazzgitarre verwurzelter Stil ist in Berlin einzigartig und macht ihn zu einem festen Bestandteil der Berliner Jazzszene. Als Bandleader steht er mit seinem Trio und Quintett regelmäßig auf der Bühne und begeistert mit kreativen Arrangements und virtuos interpretierten Eigenkompositionen. Gleichzeitig ist er ein gefragter Sideman und bringt seine unverkennbare Klangsprache in unterschiedlichste Besetzungen und Projekte ein.

Paulo Morello gilt als einer der interessantesten Jazzgitarristen Europas. Dies zeigt sich an seinen erfolgreichen internationalen Projekten mit dem Trompeten-Star Randy Brecker, der Bossa Nova Legende Leny Andrade und der Night Of Jazz Guitars mit dem späten Larry Coryell. Mit ihnen gastierte Morello auf den bedeutendsten europäischen und südamerikanischen Festivals. Darüber hinaus arbeitete er mit Jimmy Smith, Bob Mintzer, Paul Kuhn, Billy Cobham, Airto Moreira, Philip Catherine und Pat Martino zusammen. Morello lehrt als Professor für Jazzgitarre am Jazz Institut Berlin und der Hochschule für Musik Nürnberg.

Niklas Lukassen ist ein preisgekrönter Bassist und Komponist aus Süddeutschland. Schon früh entdeckte er seine Leidenschaft für den Bass und insbesondere für die Improvisation. Mit 16 Jahren zog er nach Berlin, um am Jazz-Institut zu studieren. Eine prägende Phase seiner Karriere verbrachte er in New York, wo er mehrere Jahre lebte und mit einem Vollstipendium seinen Master am Manhattan School of Music bei Ron Carter absolvierte. Um innovative Konzepte des Bassspiels weiter zu erforschen, verfolgt er heute als Performance-Researcher ein Doktoratsstudium an der Royal Academy of Music in London. Lukassen bewegt sich in unterschiedlichsten musikalischen Welten und hatte das Privileg, mit Größen wie Kurt Rosenwinkel, Mike Stern, Jorge Rossy, Oz Noy, Will Vinson, Jo Lawry und zuletzt Norma Winstone & Gwilym Simcock aufzutreten. „Ein großartiger Bassist mit sehr musikalischem Instinkt!“ – Mike Stern

Schlagzeuger Heinrich Köbberling, 1967 im hessischen Bad Arolsen geboren, studierte in Hamburg und an der New School in New York. Er hat unter anderem schon mit Aki Takase, Richie Beirach, Gary Peacock und Ernie Watts zusammengearbeitet und war an der Einspielung von rund 50 Jazzalben beteiligt. 1997 nahm er mit Bassist Marc Johnson und Gitarrist Ben Monder unter dem Titel “Pisces” sein bislang einziges Album als Leader auf. Köbberling ist heute außerdem noch Mitglied der Post-Techno/House-Band 8doogymoto und unterrichtet an der Musikhochschule in Leipzig Schlagzeug.

Etienne Wittich, an outstanding guitarist from Regensburg, moved to Berlin in 2020 to study at the Jazz Institute Berlin. His musical development has been shaped by renowned teachers such as John Scofield, Paulo Morello, Helmut Nieberle, Howard Alden, Kalle Kalima, and Phil Donkin, who have significantly influenced his playing. In 2018, he won both the Regensburger Musikpreis and the Konzertpreis Jugend Jazzt Bayern.
Rooted in the tradition of jazz guitar, his style is unique in Berlin, making him an integral part of the city's jazz scene.

Paulo Morello is regarded as one of the most interesting jazz guitarists in Europe. This is evident in his successful international projects with trumpet star Randy Brecker, Bossa Nova legend Leny Andrade, and the Night Of Jazz Guitars with the late Larry Coryell. With them, Morello performed at major European and South American festivals. Additionally, he collaborated with Jimmy Smith, Bob Mintzer, Paul Kuhn, Billy Cobham, Airto Moreira, Philip Catherine, and Pat Martino. Morello holds the positions of Artistic Director and Professor for Jazz Guitar at the Jazz Institut Berlin.

Niklas Lukassen is an award winning bassist and composer from South Germany. Soon after discovering his love for the bass and particularly improvisation, he moved to Berlin, aged 16, to study at the Jazz Institute. A formative part of his career lies in New York where he lived for several years and obtained a Masters’s Degree from Manhattan School of Music on a full scholarship under the mentorship of Ron Carter. To further explore innovative bass playing concepts, he today pursues his doctoral degree as a practice performance researcher at the Royal Academy of Music in London. Immersed in contrasting musical worlds, he has had the privilege of accompanying performances with luminaries such as Kurt Rosenwinkel, Mike Stern, Jorge Rossy, Oz Noy, Will Vinson, Jo Lawry and most recently Norma Winstone & Gwilym Simcock.

Heinrich Köbberling, born in 1967 in Bad Arolsen, Hesse, studied in Hamburg and at the New School in New York. He has worked with Aki Takase, Richie Beirach, Gary Peacock and Ernie Watts, among others, and has been involved in the recording of around 50 jazz albums. In 1997, he recorded his only album to date as a leader with bassist Marc Johnson and guitarist Ben Monder under the title "Pisces". Today, Köbberling is also a member of the post-techno/house band 8doogymoto and teaches drums at the University of Music in Leipzig.
