Born in Naples (Italy) on March 5th 1989, Francesco Ciniglio started playing the drums at age 6 under the tutelage of Maestro Sergio Di Natale
In 2010 he moved to New York on a student visa, as an undergraduate student at the City College of New York – Jazz Department (CCNY). Here he had the opportunity to study with John Patitucci, Fred Hersch, Mike Holober, Dan Carillo and Scott Reeves, as well as taking private lessons with Gregory Hutchinson.
On January 2015, 1 year after graduating from college in 2014, Francesco moved to Rome and on March 2015 he recorded his first EP with Aaron Parks on piano and Joe Sanders on Upright Bass. The album, out on March 2016 with Fresh Sound New Talent, was recorded at the Bunker Studios, Brooklyn (NY) and it’s made of Francesco’s original compositions, together with jazz standards and free improvisations.

Su Terry (aka "Sweet" Sue Terry) has been hailed as a "Superwoman of Jazz" (Hartford Courant) and a "forward voice in modern music" (Saxophone Journal). She received the Hartt School's first degree ever awarded in Jazz Performance, and in 2001 was named Alumna of the Year. Ms. Terry has performed and recorded with a long list of Jazz VIPs, including Charli Persip, Clifford Jordan, Walter Bishop, Jr., Jaki Byard, Dr. Billy Taylor, Clark Terry, Al Jarreau, Melba Liston, Chaka Khan, George Duke, Barry Harris, Phil Woods, Hilton Ruiz, Irene Reid, Dr. John, Teri Thornton, Mike Longo, Howard Johnson, Art Blakey, Carmen McRae, Jon Faddis, Lew Tabackin, Lew Soloff, Ray Barretto and Peggy Stern. She’s been a soloist with the National Symphony, the Brooklyn Philharmonic, the Florida Pops and New York Pops Orchestras.International jazz festival appearances include Montreux, Grande Parade du Jazz, Pori, Northsea, Montreal and Ottawa. She has appeared at clubs throughout North and South America, Europe and Japan. In the States she’s performed everywhere from Carnegie Hall in New York to the Playboy Jazz Festival at the Hollywood Bowl.

Every tuesday Uri Gincel chooses from berlin’s best international jazz musicians to feature in a wide variety of changing ensembles, playing the music of the greats like Herbie Hancock, Bill Evans, Miles davies, John Coltrane, Ahmad Jamal and many more, so that every week you can enjoy a totally new and different musical experience, Swing, Hard-Bop, Modern jazz, Funk and more!
After a short concert, a new york style jam session will start, bringing berlin’s best musicians together on stage, to communicate, create, improvise and push each other to new heights.
This session will bring people who never played together before, out of town musicians that are on tour in berlin as well as good friends who play for years together for an interesting and fun night every tuesday,
This will also be a place to feel the energy off stage, with many creative people talking, hanging and drinking in one of berlin’s hottest new spots.
