The "Offlines Project” will be releasing their debut album at a special concert in Zig Zag Jazz club, part of their European Tour. Consisting of percussionist, oudist and vocalist Yinon Muallem along with young Israeli born-NY based Jazz pianist, Guy Mintus, the “Offlines Project" is a result of two diverse musicians wishing to create for themselves a limitless space for creation. A space in which their different influences and personalities can come to play and be melted into a sound. In their unique way, they combine influences from Turkish Makam to American Jazz, from Indian Rhythms to Jewish music, Contemporary classical and Film music in a way that inspires to really see and feel offlines — be them national, musical, generational or even your own.

Yinon, has been living and creating in Istanbul, Turkey, for the past 15 years. There, he has released six highly acclaimed albums as well as performed/ recorded with masters such as Ross Dali, Omar Faruk, Derya Turkan, Göksel Baktagir and others. At 24, Guy has worked with Jazz icons such as Jon Hendricks, Arturo O’Farrill and Sheila Jordan at venues such as the Kennedy Center, the Apollo Theater and Symphony Space gaining recognition as an upcoming force in the creative music field.

As keen collaborators, they have been maintaing a tradition of hosting an artist in each city they perform in. So far worked with the likes of Erkan Oğur, Hasan Gozelik, Ismail Lumanovsky, Eyal Sela, Yossi Arenheim (Israeli Philharmonic) and Oriental dance artist Mor Geffen. For the “Offlines Project”, every concert is a new and singular adventure. While exposing their music to larger and larger audiences, with a sound rapidly developing, they hope that what goes out of the heart comes right back directly into it.
